A New Day for Old 40 LogoA New Day for the Old 40 is a new campaign created by the Trego County Economic Development.

This is being introduced as an opportunity to celebrate the history of The Old 40 - the Main Street of America. Businesses along and/or near the Old 40 throughout Trego County are invited to take part in efforts to brighten up Barclay in WaKeeney and on the 40 throughout the county.

Further, if any businesses are considering transition - such as sale of the business and/or the building itself, owners are welcome to contact Cheryl to find out upcoming options to take part.

All businesses are eligible for "lot clean up" assistance as we ready ourselves for an Investor Invitational in April 2023. Visitors/Investors will see this exciting occasion (during Buzzard Bash 2023), see what Trego County has to offer, and become a part of our community!
