Work Opportunity Tax Credit

A federal tax credit of $2,400 per employee may be available as your company hires employees from specified target groups or are residents (18-39 years old) of Kansas 43 "Rural Renewal" counties in Kansas. Hiring a disable veteran provides a $4,800 tax credit. Prescreening of applicants and registration of job candidates required through the KANSAWORKS system.
